These Website Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at skinailab.com and any related web pages or web-based services operated by FJCode OÜ (“we,” “us,” or “Company”).
These Terms apply to your use of the website and web-based features of the SkinAI service. They do not apply to purchases or use of SkinAI through the Apple App Store or Google Play, which are governed by the applicable platform terms and our separate mobile terms.
By accessing or using the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. Definitions
“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our” means FJCode OÜ, the owner and operator of the SkinAI service.
“User,” “you” means any individual accessing or using the website.
“Website” means skinailab.com and any related web pages or web checkout pages operated by the Company.
“Service” means the SkinAI web-based service, including AI-powered skin check functionality, scan reports, and related digital features made available through the Website.
“User Content” means any information, materials, images, or photos uploaded or submitted by Users while using the Service.
3. About the Service
SkinAI is a consumer software service that allows users to upload skin photos and receive AI-generated informational outputs and related digital content.
The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is not a medical device, not a diagnostic service, and not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider if you have concerns about your skin condition.
Results may be less reliable and the Service may be less suitable in certain cases, including:
- Fitzpatrick skin type V or VI;
- skin areas with tattoos, makeup, or other artificial modifications; or
- damaged, inflamed, or otherwise non-intact skin, such as open wounds or burns.
4. AI-Powered Analysis
SkinAI uses artificial intelligence to analyze user-submitted skin images and generate informational outputs. These outputs may include image-based pattern analysis, informational summaries, and educational insights.
All outputs are provided for informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute a medical diagnosis, clinical opinion, or treatment recommendation.
5. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Website or make any Website Purchase.
By using the Website, you represent and warrant that:
- you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
- the information you provide is accurate and complete; and
- you will use the Service only in accordance with applicable law and these Terms.
6. Registration and Account
Registration may be required to access certain features of the Service. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

7. Website Purchases and Subscriptions

Website purchases, including subscription billing, cancellation, renewal, and refund eligibility, are governed by our Website Subscription Terms and Refund Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are not Website Purchases and are governed by the applicable platform billing and refund rules, together with our separate mobile terms where applicable.
8. Acceptable Use
By using the Website, you agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law;
- upload images or content that you do not have the right to submit;
- interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Website or its underlying infrastructure;
- attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify any part of the Service;
- use automated tools, scrapers, or bots to access the Website without our prior written consent;
- submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information; or
- distribute malware, spam, or other harmful content through the Website.
Violations of these restrictions may result in suspension or termination of your access and may give rise to legal liability.
9. User Content and Intellectual Property
By uploading images or other User Content to the Service, you retain all ownership rights in that content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, host, process, transmit, and use that content as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, support, and improve the Service, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may use anonymized and de-identified data derived from your use of the Service for research, algorithm improvement, and statistical purposes. See our Privacy Policy for further details.
All materials, software, algorithms, designs, text, and other content published on the Website belong to the Company or its licensors and are protected by copyright and applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Website without our prior written consent.

We collect and process personal data, including skin images, contact information, device data, and usage statistics, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website or Service.
To the extent permitted by law, the Company’s total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Service will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount paid by you to us for the Service during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) EUR 100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
14. Modification and Termination of Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature, product, or part of the Website at any time. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable to you for losses resulting solely from such changes.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiations will be submitted to the courts of Estonia, unless mandatory rules in your jurisdiction provide for a different forum.
16. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Website Subscription Terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company with respect to your use of the Website and any Website Purchases.
17. Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law. If you are a consumer in the European Union or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection rules, those rights remain unaffected.

These Terms are written in English. Any translations are provided for convenience only. In the event of any inconsistency between the English version and any translation, the English version will prevail, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Refund Policy
Effective Date: March 21, 2026
This Refund Policy applies only to purchases made directly through our website at skinailab.com and any related web checkout pages ("Website Purchases").
This Refund Policy does not apply to purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, which are governed by the applicable platform rules.
1. General Principles
We provide digital services and digital content through our website.
Because access to digital services may be provided immediately after purchase, refund eligibility depends on whether the purchased service has already been used, accessed, or delivered.
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
2. Currency
All prices, charges, refunds, and calculations under this Refund Policy are processed in the currency of the original transaction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us at mail@skinai.pro and include:
- the email address used for the purchase;
- your full name;
- the date of purchase;
- the amount charged;
- the payment confirmation or receipt, if available; and
- a short description of the reason for the request.
We may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify your purchase and assess your request.
4. Single Scan Refunds
Single Scan is a one-time purchase that provides access to 1 scan.
You may be eligible for a full refund if:
- you request the refund within 24 hours of purchase; and
- the scan has not been used; and
- no paid report, downloadable file, or equivalent paid digital output has been generated or made available to you.
Single Scan purchases are generally non-refundable once:
- the scan has been used;
- a report has been generated;
- a PDF report has been generated or made available for download; or
- the purchased digital service has otherwise been delivered,
except where a refund is required by applicable law.
5. Starter Subscription Refunds
Starter Subscription is an auto-renewing subscription billed every 7 days and includes up to 5 scans during each billing period.
a. Full Refund for an Unused Billing Period
You may be eligible for a full refund for the relevant billing period if:
- you request the refund within 24 hours of the relevant charge; and
- no scans from that billing period have been used; and
- no paid report, downloadable file, or equivalent paid digital output from that billing period has been generated or made available to you.
b. Partial Refund for Limited Use
If you request a refund within 24 hours of the relevant charge and only part of the included scans from that billing period has been used, we may issue a partial refund.
The refundable amount for the relevant billing period will generally be calculated as follows:
refund = price paid − (price paid ÷ included scans × used scans)
Any resulting amount will be rounded to the nearest cent in the currency of the original transaction. No refund will be issued if this calculation results in zero or a negative amount.
c. No Refund
Refunds are generally not available for the relevant billing period once:
- all included scans from that billing period have been used;
- the digital service for that billing period has been fully consumed;
- reports or downloadable files have been generated or made available for all included scans from that billing period; or
- more than 24 hours have passed since the relevant charge,
except where a refund is required by applicable law.
6. Renewal Charges
Each automatic renewal creates a new billing period. Refund requests for renewal charges will be assessed under the same rules described above for the relevant renewed billing period.
Canceling a subscription stops future renewals only and does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current or past billing periods.
7. Cancellation vs. Refund
Cancellation and refund are different actions.
- Cancellation stops future renewal charges.
- A refund concerns money that has already been charged.
If you do not want to be charged for the next billing period, you must cancel before the next renewal date.
8. Immediate Performance of Digital Services
By completing a Website Purchase, you expressly request and consent to the immediate supply of digital content and/or the immediate performance of digital services.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you acknowledge that once the digital service has begun or digital content has been made available, your right to withdraw may be lost or limited.
Where required by applicable law, we will obtain this consent and acknowledgement during checkout before immediate access is provided.
9. Service Failures and Billing Errors
If you were charged for a scan or subscription period but the paid service was not successfully delivered due to a technical error on our side, a duplicate charge, or a billing malfunction, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund, re-credit, or service reissuance, as appropriate.
10. Non-Refundable Situations
To the extent permitted by law, we may deny a refund where we reasonably determine that the request involves unauthorized payment use, chargeback abuse, repeated refund requests for substantially consumed services, or other objectively verifiable misuse of the service or payment system.
11. Statutory Rights
If you are entitled to a refund, withdrawal right, or cancellation right under mandatory law in your country, state, or region of residence, those rights remain unaffected.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days unless an exception applies.
Where permitted by applicable law, by purchasing digital content or digital services through our website and requesting immediate access, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal may be lost or limited once performance begins.
12. Refund Review and Processing
We aim to review refund requests within 5 business days after receiving all information reasonably necessary to assess the request.
If your refund is approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise required by law.
13. Language
This Refund Policy is written in English. Any translations are provided for convenience only. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between the English version and any translation, the English version will prevail, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
